Reference Track

1. Start by choosing some reference tracks (songs that you can use for ideas – you might like the tone of the guitar in a particular song, or the overall arc of another song).

2. Take some ideas from different songs and tweak them to make them your own (change the key, play the notes in a different order, speed it up/slow it down).

3. Put the parts together in different ways to see what order works best.
